Question: Hello Robin: I am trying to find a place to buy old fashioned “paper” scrapbooks. Not plastic sleeve scrapbooks as I find these everywhere. I want the paper old fashioned kind!! Can you help me?
Answer: I understand your dilemma. Most people don’t use the paper albums anymore because it is hard to protect photos from people handling them and such. That is why the page protectors have become such a popular alternative to the original paper kind. Consequently, there are few place that carry them anymore — especially scrapbooking stores. I have found several stores that do carry them, but they call them “paper photo albums” or “paper memory books”.
