What is the best kind of adhesive to use to apply chipboard?

February 19th, 2007

Question: What is the best kind of adhesive to use to apply chipboard?  I don’t want it to be raised anymore than it already is so that eliminates pop dots and those kind of things.  Thanks! Christie
Answer:  It usually depends on what I am sticking it to, but usually I use glue dots or liquid glue.  I like the flat glue dots, squares, and lines (not the pop-up kind).  The glue lines are perfect for letters because they are skinny.  I also use liquid adhesive, especially when I am sticking the letters to things other than paper.  My favorite kind is from Making Memories.  In fact, they sell a value pack right now  that comes with  3 kinds of glue - metal, ribbon, and universal glue.  I use the universal for chipboard.  I love these because I don’t have to touch the glue to use it.  You just squeeze the bottle and the glue can be applied directly to the letter.
