Question: Where can I find NFL scrapbooking paper (12 x 12)?
Answer: There are tons of football-themed paper on our site here. As far as I know, there isn’t any company out there that has bought the licencing rights for NFL scrapbooking paper. EK Success, though, has a newer line of stickers from the NFL. Check out the NFL embellishments we have! I would suggest using the teams colors as your background papers and then adding a few NFL embellishments to make your page stand out.

Question: Hi Robin,
I am new at scrapbooking and I need more protectors for the scrapbook I have chosen. I found “Memory Keepers 12×12 Postbound Page Protectors. The book I have has 2 holes to put the pages on. Will these work for it and do I need longer posts for this and if so what do I need. Please help!
Answer: Of course it depends on the scrapbook you have chosen, but most postbound scrapbooks hold or come with 20 page protectors. The page protectors you bought should work, but before you open the package make sure that the hole placement is correct (i.e. compare your scrapbook to the page protectors and make sure the post and holes match up). If you add any more pages to these scrapbooks, usually you need to get post extensions. Another option is to get longer screw posts (these ones are 1″) and replace the shorter ones you have (if the album allows you to remove them. if not, go for the extensions).

Question: Hi Robin: I’m a beginning scrapaholic. I’m trying to find a handwritten font by the name, “Journal font.”
Any help would be appreciated,
Answer: I love fonts! If you do a regular Google search on the internet for free fonts, there are thousands of them! I found a few with the “journal” name below:
1.) http://www.free-fonts.com/handwriting_fonts.html
2.) http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/Journal.htm
If these aren’t the one you are looking for, try a search yourself on the internet (fonts are given different names on different sites). Or maybe the font you are looking for isn’t a free font. We have over 500 fonts perfect for scrapbooking on our website here. Many of the are under $2. We actually have a few “journal” named fonts on our website from Two Peas in a Bucket.

Question: Hi Robin,
I live in the States and have been searching for the Pressed Petals Scrap Metal alphabet letters in silver (size 1′ to 1 1/8″), but have been unsuccessfull.
I am not a retailer, just an individual customer who needs to complete a scrapbooking project. It seems that you either have to be a retailer or purchase a lot of quantities of this product to even be able to get them from Pressed Petals. I’ve even tried ebay, but no luck.
Do you have any suggestions?
Answer: I have found some from www.createforless.com . This link should take you directly to the Silver 1″ Pressed Petal letters. Most of the other sites I found carrying these actually got them from Create for Less. Good Luck!

Question: I am looking into buying the making memories tote bag.. I can’t find anywhere that sells it, that shows how it looks in the inside when you open it.. pockets and all.. i want a bag big enough for paper, stickers and my trimmer.. and some small stuff like my tape runner etc.. thanks, vicki
Answer: I can’t seem to find any photos of the bag’s interior. I don’t own it, but I have seen it in stores. It is lined with a polka dot fabric with several adjustable zipper pockets and compartments - I have the XXL Crop in Style and I remember it being very similar inside. The outside pockets are great for adhesives, small stamps, and embellishments. The interior fits 12×12 paper in a special plastic box that comes with it. I would suggest checking it out at a local store and then getting the best deal online.

Question: Robin, I believe there is a pad of pre glued card stock paper that you can use to cut out shapes or numbers and then glue them directly onto the page. I think there is about 20 6×4 size sheets with different colours. Could you please advise me where I could obtain these packs. Unsure who makes them.
Thanks Deli
Answer: ‘Die Cuts With a View’ sells self-adhesive cardstock sheets in several sizes including full sheet 12×12″. We sell their 12×2 strips of adhesive cardstock. What I believe you are looking for are their adhesive stacks which you can see on their website: http://www.diecutswithaview.com/catalog.php?id=5 . They sell the 4.5×6.5″ and 6×6″ stacks in cardstock and the 6×6″ printed paper adhesive stack.

Question: Dear Robin,
I am new to scrapbooking. I am creating a picture collage on mortar board for my son’s graduation party. I picked up some quotes that are printed in black on clear vellum paper. My board is black. How do I adhere vellum paper to a colored paper so that the quotes stand out on the black mortar board?
I am desperate to complete this project within the week. Please, can you help?
Answer: There are several ways to attach vellum to paper.
1. You can use vellum adhesive sheets if the quote is smaller than 5 1/2″ x 9″. These are great because it goes from edge to edge without showing through - like peel and stick, no cutting and no mess. Try to find the brand Wackytac at your local scrapbooking/craft store.
2. Vellum glue dots or vellum adhesive runners also work well, but they won’t adhere the quote from edge to edge. I personally use these for my scrapbooking projects. Make sure to buy ones specifically designed for vellum - they tend to hide better.
3. Stick glue can also work well as long as it is clear.
4. Another option is to not use glue at all. Try using a tack, brad, eyelet, or even a nail if you wanted to just hook the colored paper and vellum directly to the board. You could also sew the vellum to the paper and then use a spray adhesive to attach that to the board.
