Question: Someone has asked me to do a scrapbook for them. I don’t know how much to charge.
Answer: I would say that most scrapbookers charge between $2.50-$15 a page (though some professionals charge much more). I would estimate your cost of supplies and the amount of time that you will spend on the project. If you spend $25 on supplies and the scrapbook takes 5 hours, estimate how much money your time is worth (i.e. $10/hr or $30/hr) and then charge your client accordingly. Charging $150 - $200 for a 15-20 page scrapbook is reasonable. Just make sure your client knows the amount ahead of time

Question: I’m not a scrapbooker, but I’m looking for alphabet paper punches for another project. Can you suggest an attractive letter punch that makes letters 3/4 to 1″ high? The letters would need to be in a stencil font so the “holes’ don’t fall out of o’s and other letters. I’ll be using the “hole” not the letter that gets punched out. Thanks!
Answer: Here are some possibilities:
1. 1/2″ wide x 3/4″ high Alphabet punch - Stencil Style

2. 3/8″ Alphabet Punch from 1 Stop Square
